The Chastain Family

The Chastain family welcomed me into a golden afternoon at Long Hunter State Park just east of Nashville — and from the moment we started, it was clear this was a family that knows how to be together. They were easy, warm, and completely themselves. The kind of family that makes my job feel effortless.

This was a maternity session, which meant there was something quietly sacred about the whole afternoon — a season they'll never get back, a chapter about to change. Their little one was already part of every frame, already surrounded by so much love. We let the light do what it wanted, let the kids lead when they needed to, and stayed out of the way when the real moments started happening on their own.
